Although the postal address is Smeeth, geographically, the house is in the village of Brabourne Lees.
Come via Oxenturn Road, past Wye Surgery. Follow road through Naccolt. Observe signs for Smeeth/Brabourne Lees. When in Brabourne Lees, come through village, past green on left, Child’s Garage on right. Turn left into Plain Road.
Chapel Cottage is set back from the road on the left, and is not actually visible, since it is obscured by the garden. Come past the Brabourne Baptist Church on the left. Look for my car (silver 4x4) on the drive next to a brick outbuilding – there’ll be a triangular junction sign actually on the drive. If you pass a post box on the left (Canterbury Road), you’ve gone too far.
